Terms and conditions of enrolment
The Agreement
Upon acceptance of your enrolment form and
receipt of the full course fee you become a registered student with The Skills College. A legal agreement is then in force where, in consideration of the fee paid by you, The Skills College agrees to provide
course materials and tuition in accordance with the course outline provided.
The Skills College cannot accept any responsibility for failure to
provide services due to the acts or omissions of any third party or to other circumstances beyond its control. Course fees do not include any local taxes that may be chargeable at point of entry.
Enrolment
Online enrolment can only be made by
submitting to The Skills College a correctly completed enrolment form from this website and following acceptance of these terms
Availability
All products and services are subject to
availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If your course is unavailable you will be advised and your fee refunded
Fees
Full payment for your course must be made prior to
the course start date. Until the payment is received, The Skills College is under no obligation to provide any course material or services.
Materials
Your course materials will only be released in appropriate units as you progress
Withdrawal of application prior to commencement
You can
withdraw your application at any time in writing prior to the course start date. Any course material supplied must be returned in an unused condition. Any course fee paid will be refunded within a reasonable time after return
of the materials supplied subject to an administration charge levied at the discretion of The Skills College
Cancellation
Pursuant to the Distance Selling Regulations
you have a cooling off period of 7 days from receipt of your course package. You will receive a full refund of any fee paid if:
1. You advise us that you wish to cancel within the 7 day period
2. You return all materials to us at your own expense (including any free or bonus packs)
3. We receive them back in a re-saleable condition and with any security tags unbroken
Warranty and limitation
We warrant that materials will be
of satisfactory quality but do not warrant they will be free of error.
Any services we provide to you will be performed with reasonable skill and care. Any other warranties express or implied are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Any liability for losses arising out of our negligence, breach of
contract, actions or otherwise arising out of this agreement shall be limited to the course fee received from you and we shall not be liable for any indirect or inconsequential losses ( including inter alia loss of profits,
revenue, opportunity or you liability to any third party) which may arise or you may suffer arising from or in connection with this agreement
Conditions of agreement
The terms of this agreement are as
set out in this document and the course outline and by no other terms except as expressly agreed in writing with you
Governing law
The terms of this document shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law.
